New Releases - 2nd May 2016

It's a bank holiday Monday, but the anime world never rests so that means it's new release Monday as always.

First up this week are Anime Limited, who finally bring us their home video release of A Letter to Momo as a DVD/Blu-ray combo Collector's Edition and DVD Standard Edition today. We'll be publishing our review of this release in due course, but in the meantime you can see our thoughts on the film itself from a screening at Scotland Loves Anime way back in 2011.

Also coming from Anime Limited today is Baccano! in its Standard Edition Blu-ray form. Our thoughts on the prior Collector's Edition release of the show on Blu-ray are available for your perusal over here.

Finally we come to Animatsu Entertainment, and their sole release of the week - the Blade Dance of the Elementalers Complete Series Collection arrives on both DVD and Blu-ray today. We're still waiting for our review discs to turn up for this title, so fingers crossed they arrive soon!

Meanwhile in the world of manga, releases include the first volume of Shomin Sample: I Was Abducted by an Elite All-Girls School as a Sample Commoner from Seven Seas Entertainment, as well as plenty of Viz Media releases including more Yo-Kai Watch and Food Wars.
