New Releases - 4th July 2016

It's Independence Day, and we all know what that means... let's just hope the aliens don't invade before we get our weekly dose of anime, eh?

This Monday brings a couple of big releases, starting with Anime Limited's Expelled From Paradise as a DVD/Blu-ray Collector's Edition and Standard Edition DVD. We'll be reviewing the retail edition of the film very soon, but in the meantime you can read our thoughts from a previous theatrical screening of the film.

Also from Anime Limited is their Standard Edition Blu-ray of Shinichiro Watanabe's Terror in Resonance to complement its previous Ultimate Edition and Standard Edition DVD releases. Read our thoughts on the series right here.

Meanwhile, Manga Animatsu bring us Haikyu!! Season 1 Collection 2 on both DVD and Blu-ray today. We'll have a review of these volleyball hijinks up on the site very soon!

It's a very busy week for manga and novels meanwhile, with Viz Media bringing us Goodnight Punpun and the first Legend of the Galactic Heroes novel amongst other things, whilst we have more Monster Musume: I Heart Monster Girls and Magical Girl Apocalypse on the way from Seven Seas Entertainment. Next week, we see Ping Pong the Animation land in the UK, alongside the second half of The Future Diary: Mirai Nikki and (hopefully) another Naruto Shippuden box set. Until then, take care!
