New Releases - April 14th 2014

It's almost Easter, but if you're looking to treat yourself to something that won't melt or make you feel nauseous if you consume too much of it, this is looking to be a hot week for new anime releases.

Let's bring out the big guns first, in the form of MVM Entertainment's release of Girls und Panzer, which arrives today on DVD with its official Blu-Ray release now pushed back a couple of weeks.  You can find our review of the series right here.

Meanwhile, Manga Entertainment today bring their Kenichi: The Mightiest Discipline Complete Collection our way on DVD, compiling this series as a single box set.  You can find our reviews of seasons one and two of the show here and here respectively.

Last but not least, today sees STUDIOCANAL bring us the latest in a series of Studio Ghibli HD remasters, as Isao Takahata's Pom Poko arrives as a new Blu-Ray and DVD DoublePlay edition.  Our review of the film is available over here.

There's also plenty of new manga releases to choose from this week, including new volumes of A Certain Scientific Railgun, Senran Kagura and more besides, whilst Devils and Realist sees its first volume hit the UK this week.

Next Monday is a Bank Holiday with only a single new release, that being the first half of Chrome Shelled Regios - we'll have a review later in the week, but until next time, take care!
