New Releases - August 24th 2015

It's Monday and it's raining... perhaps some new anime can brighten up our start to the week?

In those terms, it doesn't get much brighter than Space Dandy, and today sees the Season 2 Collector's Edition of said series arrive on both DVD and Blu-ray from Anime Limited. Want to know more? Check out our review over here, or give our video coverage of this release a watch.

Also arriving today in a similar is the Space Dandy Complete Collection on DVD, comprising series one and two of the show. If you want to read more about the first season of this show, why not do so via this review?

Today also brings us some releases from MVM Entertainment, most notably Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse - Part 1 on both DVD and Blu-ray. You can find out our thoughts on what this particular series has to offer so far right here.

Finally on the anime front we have the Accel World Complete Series Collection on DVD and DVD alone (yes, we know). You can find our reviews of parts one and two of this series for your perusal here and here.

We also have a fair few new manga and light novel releases to look forward to this week - Spice & Wolf's latest volume is the sole new light novel addition, while the likes of High School DxD, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and Assassination Classroom see new manga volumes releases amongst others.

Looking forward to next week.... absolutely nothing is coming out. Given that it's a bank holiday weekend and our editor-in-chief is on holiday, that's probably no bad thing, so maybe we can all take a much-needed break?
