We're still rubbing thre sleep from our eyes after as busy weekend in Glasgow for Scotland Loves Anime 2014, but there's no time for our morning coffee - there are new anime releases to talk about!
It's Manga Entertainment who dominate the new release news this week, starting with the DVD release of Naruto Shippuden Box 19 - a collection of episodes which we just so happen to have reviewed right here.
In a similar vein, also arriving today is Dragon Ball Season 4 spread across six DVDs - our review is on the way, so check back for our thoughts later this week!
If you fancy picking up some digital anime, Sony Pictures have today released Appleseed Alpha in digital form - you can find it on iTunes, but not before you read our review of the film. The DVD and Blu-ray release follows in a couple of weeks.
In other news, we should probably mention that the live-action adaptation of Kite is out in the UK today on DVD and Blu-ray, and we just so happen to have reviewed the film right here.
Beyond that, it's a quiet week for new manga which sees the first volume of Usagi Yojimbo Saga arrive from Dark Horse alongside another volume of Flowers of Evil from Vertical.
Things are a little busier next week however, with Gurren Lagann making its much-awaited Blu-ray appearance, while Devil Survivor 2 also gets an outing. Until then, take care!
