New Releases - October 20th 2014

Apologies for the lateness of this week's new release round-up folks, but we've only just made it back from our time up north for Scotland Loves Anime. However, we've now returned, so let normality resume... for three days until we head to the MCM London Comic Con.

Anyhow, today's biggest release is easily the arrival (at last!) of Gurren Lagann in the UK on Blu-ray, with its Ultimate Edition on that format complemented by a Collector's Edition DVD release, and a Standard Edition Blu-ray release which contains only the series proper. Our review of this release should be up on the site tomorrow, so stay tuned!

Also arriving today is Manga Entertainment's subtitle-only release of The Princess and the Pilot, which has landed on both DVD and Blu-ray today. Again, expect a review soon!

Finally, we have the Devil Survivor 2 Complete Series Collection, which comes our way on DVD from MVM Entertainment. We have reviewed this one for you already, and you can read that review here.

It's also a pretty busy week for manga, which brand new releases including No Game No Life and Witch Craft Works alongside additional volumes of the likes of the Monster: Perfect Edition, Haganai and Sankarea.

Next week things are looking even busier - ignoring London Comic Con (as if we can!), new releases include the home video edition of Appleseed Alpha, the Kokoro Connect OVA Collection, Attack on Titan Part 2 and The Devil is a Part-Timer. Until then, take care!
