New Releases - October 5th 2015

It's another busy week for new releases in what is shaping up to be a busy month for us here at UK Anime, so without further ado let's crack on and see what's on the docket this Monday?

Let's start with JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, shall we? This Complete Series 1 Collection arrives on DVD today from Warner Bros Home Video, and it's very much a case of buyer beware - with lazily crafted (albeit functional) menus, atrocious video quality and the only English subtitle track proving to be a "hard of hearing" track which directly translates the English dub, you may want to give this a miss.

In brighter news, today also brings us Animatsu Entertainment's release of A Certain Scientific Railgun's Complete Season 1 Collection on both DVD and Blu-ray. If you want to know more, we've just this minute published our review of the release for your perusal.

Meanwhile, over at Kazé we have Magi: The Kingdom of Magic - Series 2 Part 1 landing on DVD and Blu-ray; you can find our review of this volume of shounen shenanigans right here on the site.

Manga Entertainment meanwhile handle the mammoth release of Yu-Gi-Oh! Season 3 on DVD - we won't be reviewing this on the site, simply because we never managed to get hold of a copy of season two!

Another of the week's big release is the Tokyo Ghoul Complete Season 1 Collection, which arrives in Collector's Edition Blu-ray and Standard Edition DVD form courtesy of Anime Limited. We have a review of that Collector's Edition on the site right now, and you can read it over here.

Finally, the week is rounded out by MVM Entertainment, as they bring Captain Earth - Part 2 to the UK on DVD and Blu-ray, in a release which we've reviewed right here.

Next week is all about movies, with the first two Puella Magi Madoka Magica films appearing alongside Naruto the Movie: Road to Ninja. Until then, take care!
