Poor old Samurai Warriors just can't catch a break, can it? Having recently endured two delays in three days to move to a new 10th July 2017 release berth, the series is now being relegated to a DVD-only release.
Initially planned as a DVD/Blu-ray combo pack containing both the complete series and OVA, the release has now been stripped back to a DVD-only SKU.
This seems to follow hot on the heels of a similar move in North America, where Funimation Entertainment have also pushed back their US release to an unspecified future date whilst switching to a DVD-only release.
