Today has seen the BFI announce their full 2015 line-up for the BFI London Film Festival, and in amongst the slew of films airing at the event are a couple of very notable anime movies.

First and foremost is Mamoru Hosoda's latest movie, The Boy and the Beast, which will be screening at the Cineworld Haymarket cinema on both Friday October 16th at 6:15PM and Saturday October 17th at 3:15PM - you can find more details on this page of the BFI web site.

Also screening at the event is Studio Ghibli's When Marnie Was There, which appears at the Cineworld Haymarket on Saturday 10th October at 2:30PM and at the BFI Southbank on Wednesday October 14th at 6:15PM. Details of these screenings can be found on this page.

There are, of course, plenty of other Japanese works appearing at the festival - here's the full run-down of all films originating from the country:

The festival as a whole runs from October 7th-18th 2015, and tickets will go on general sale on September 17th from the BFI web site.
