We heard news filtering out about some new manga licenses at the US Katsucon convention at the weekend, but we now have full confirmation of what the manga and novel publisher unveiled at the event. Here's what they had to show off:
Voices of a Distant Star - Previously released in English by Tokyopop, this single volume manga adapts Makoto Shinkai's short film by the same name. There's no release date scheduled for this title at the time of writing.
Anime Limited recently released the film upon which this manga is based on Blu-ray in the UK.
Arakawa Under the Bridge - Starting November 2017, this manga from the pen of Hkaru Nakamura (author of Saint Young Men) will be released in onibusy volumes. The manga, already available digitally to Crunchyroll subscribers in full, tells the story of a young businessman whose devotion to repaying any debt leads to him living under a bridge with a group of oddball residents.
MVM Entertainment released the anime adaptation of the series on DVD in the UK.
Imperfect Shoujo - This manga from the author of Sankarea takes in the story of a protagonist who is captured and confined by a girl after witnessing her strange behaviour in the aftermath of a traffic accident. The series will commence publication in English from October 2017.
Anime Supremacy - This novel illustrated by CLAMP tells the tale of two very different anime directors as they work on projects prior to their airing.
