After a long spell of teasing its imminent arrival and the seeding of early Alpha Box packages into the community (one of which we received and took a look at), today has finally seen streaming service Viewster launch their Omakase subscription offering.
The service consists of two elements - firstly, an HD, ad-free premium video streaming service for all of the latest simulcasts and growing catalogue of series on Viewster's platform; secondly, a curated box of themed, anime-related goodies delivered to your doorstep every two months.
The subscription alone costs US $29 for a two-month subscription to the service, plus an additional $19 shipping fee for a total of $48 every two months including VAT.
For those of you only interested in either the curated box of goods or simply the premium video subscription - sorry, you're out of luck, the service is only offered as an "all or nothing" package at this present time; something that we personally hope is reconsidered in the near future.
To learn more, or to sign up to the service, you can head on over to Viewster's Omakase landing page.
