This year's New York Comic Con has given us a fair few major announcements to churn through, but it's with Viz Media that we begin as they had some big news to reveal on both the anime and manga sides of their business.
Starting with anime, the distributor has confirmed that they've acquired the 2011 version of the Hunter x Hunter anime for a North American home video release. The entire series will be released on both DVD and Blu-ray, and receive an English dub.
The company also had no shortage of new manga titles to announce, including some massive sports titles:
7th Garden - This fantasy action series revolves around a gardenener who accidentally awakens a demon, as events transpire to leave him with a choice of continuing his normal life or becoming her servant. The first volume of the series is set for a summer 2016 release.
Black Clover - This magical fantasy Shonen Jump series has been confirmed for a print release starting in summer 2016.
Everyone's Getting Married - This shoujo series tells to story of a woman who wants to get married, and a man whom she gets on well with but has no interest in marriage. Again, expect to see the series debut in summer 2016.
Haikyu!! - Hot on the heels of its successful anime adaptation from Production I.G., the original manga of this volleyball-themed series will be arriving in the summer.
Kuroko's Basketball - In a similar vein, this hugely popular basketball series will also begin next summer as a series of 2-in-1 omnibus edition releases.
Monster Hunter - This ten volume series based on the popular video game franchise will be arriving in English from next spring.
Yona of the Dawn - Finally, this fantasy action shoujo series has also enjoyed popularity off the back of a recent anime adaptation, and as such its source material will be released in English from next summer.
