We're now seeing a few manga publishers trying to lure people away from piracy by offering up chapter-by-chapter releases of titles in lockstep with their Japanese availability, and one of the publishers at the forefront of such schemes has been Yen Press.
The end of last week saw the company announce their so-called "simulpub" plans for another title, where chapters will be released simultaneously in digital form as they arrive in Japan. The latest series to get this treatment is Ne Ne Ne, the latest series from the author of Horimiya which Yen Press describes thus:
What's it about? Married off to a man more than twenty years her senior, Koyuki has no idea what her new life has in store for her. She's so in the dark, in fact, that she hasn't even seen her husband's face! But Koyuki isn't alone in fumbling through the intricacies of wedded bliss. Mask-donning Shin might have many years on his young wife, but as it turns out, he's just as naïve as she is! Will this pair of innocents ever get past their awkwardness (and the age gap)?!
The first four chapters of the series are set to be published on 10th February 2017, with new chapters arriving monthly from that point forth.
You can find the news for yourself on the Yen Press web site.
