Yen Press continue to work hard to pick up light novels aplenty, and their manga editions alongside them, whenever possible these days, and yesterday evening brought us two new acquisitions along these exact lines.
Perhaps the most notable of these two announcements likely to cause quite an explosion is Konosuba - having enjoyed some surprising success in the winter via its anime adaptation (which we reviewed here), this series is set to see both its light novel and manga editions brought to the west in English form from an as-yet unspecified date.
The series concerns a shut-in who, upon his death, finds himself transferred to a fantasy world with all of the trappings of an RPG - although not before he manages to take the goddess who sends him there with her.
Also acquired in both light novel and manga forms by the publisher is Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody. Along similar lines, this series sees its protagonist awaken in a fantasy world apopros of nothing, while his acquisition of vast riches allows him to enjoy the kind of harem-fuelled romp you might expect from such a series.
