So long as Craig Charles is back as the presenter i'm in - anyone else?
We'll see. Robot wars got very samey towards the end (was kinda dumd that a series about robots fighting could get dull)
I'll poke my head around the door. As latro said, it got very repetative in the end. In saying that a bit of wanton destruction is no bad thing and it would be nice to see if Razor has met it's match. If they were to turn in different leagues and formats so the competition was even and varied it would be interesting. Of course there needs to be an open class.
Would anyone like to see a few of the house robots back?
I want them to have a Drone category. Anyone fancy the idea of an octcopter with a giant pneumatic axe?
Just have one that carries a bucket of water and drops it on cue!
See, that would be awesome. Like the idea of one with a super soaker that goes for the RC controller myself
I'm having visions of flying, spinning circular saw blades...
With Craig Charles in the way of them ^_^
Leave him alone - he has a lot more red dwarf to do before he's allowed to get hurt!!!
Hell NO! They ruined so many otherwise great face offs with their interventions.
I'm a bit meh about the whole thing. It rather depends if they bring back or build on the good stuff (robots kicking the tungsten out of each other) instead of all the crap that made it insufferable at times.
Argh, forgot Dave was doing some new series...
Ok, he can live.
I may catch the first episode to see the caliber of robots now although this show gets boring insanely fast. I don't even bother to go near the stand for it at MCM.
I may catch the first episode to see what the current bunch are like as it will bring back memories of my youth.
The 1st couple serieses were good when it wasn't just fighting all the time, bit of skill required to get around that course.
ill give it a watch aswell. gotta see what they have done to it. would be good in 3d
I remember being incredibly enthusiastic about Robot Wars when it was first released, but the shine was scuffed as early as Series 2 with the blatantly shameless fix that was the Cassius vs. Panic Attack final. I agrree with Kite that I hope to see the obstacle courses coming back because they actually added good variety to the experience as well.
