Depending on the layout, we may be able to negate WiFi and go wired (I'll bring my longest Ethernet cable just in case!) - but yeah, we'll just have to see how it looks when we get there.

You can almost see the tears of disappointment in his eyes.

Okay, grabbed my train tickets today. I'll be getting in around 5:30 on Friday- if the trains are on time!

So on the Saturday I'll need to go for a 22-25km run (Marathon Training) - anyone got any suggestions of routes/paths in the local area?

Matlock Bath's in a valley, which you have to get out of to cover that kind of distance without looping a lot. Only problem is it's hilly as **** in every direction, you really do need to be crazy to run around there... but you are so... Pick a direction and go there's pleasant green stuff every which way, just avoid the A6 as much as possible it's a dangerous road. If you head to Cromford Canal you'll get some flat in your run, but a lot of the roads around there don't have footpaths and are national speed limit. Also around there Lea's quite pleasant, again hilly and no paths. You could head past some old UKAStock haunts at Riber and Holloway, but the trek up the hill to Riber very nearly killed Rob and the trek up the hill to Holloway nearly killed Carl several times.

If you're not feeling crazy a quick (<20mins) drive out to Carsington Reservoir will give you 8miles ish on one loop around it. It's pretty flat with lots of facilities and safe clear paths.

    3 weeks~

I'll mention again, I can give anyone from around Manchester (or close enough) or between there and Matlock a lift if you need or don't want to take a bus/train.

A survey will be going out tonight for food, meals etc.

I need responses by Sunday please. I'll send it out over emails and put a new sticky on this forum.

Does anyone have any designs for the weekend? Any group watches/gaming sessions or the like? I might be interested in tagging along if anyone goes to explore the local sights. :)

I am thinking of bringing my mountain bike on the back of the car to have a good spin around at some point, if anyone wants to bring theirs?

Failing that, also thinking of maybe doing another trip out. Maybe to Buxton or somewhere nice. Not Castleton again, but sure we can think of something. Beats staying in the house all day :)

A little trip again would be nice if we can find anything interesting.

    We don't "do" planning :p

On the videogame kink - I've posed this in the dedicated thread but if you are so inclined or intersted bring along an arcade stick/ game controller for fightman game hijinks! :D

I'll likely be bringing some smaller games as lugging a honking great box around is a PITA.
    Current listing:
    Sushi Go!
    Tiny Epic Galaxies
    Cacao
A pair of personally made games I'm still (VERY) slowly working on (sweatdrop)
