I'm not sure; I can only suggest posting videos of things few others have done... my most watched video is a wobbly six second clip of Sula Sgeir, a remote uninhabited island forty miles off Scotland. Steam trains also seem moderately popular. To me honest I never really worried about numbers; I hadn't checked mine in years :p

Iv never known what the winning formula is, though i can say one thing... getting a single video promoted by some big channel will bring in a big dollop of subscribers.

My channel is largely Elite Dangerous lated, a few other VR gaming exploits etc. I made one video that got promoted by Frontier Developments (makers of Elite) and BAM my channel went from 35 subscribers to about 450 overnight. Its slowly been rising since then and sits just over 700... still need to make that mighty 1000.

The other way is to pay to promote a video to be higher in the search though this costs money... and if you dont already have a youtube income, its not exactly free money to pump into self promotion.

    *shrugs*

Regardless... subscribed... lol hit me back :D - user name is Eros Madelung... same/similar Mian Toris avatar
