    Hi guys,

My girlfriend and I are looking for cheap things to do in the evenings!

Apart from the obvious (before anyone chimes in), I suggested playing video games.
She likes stories. And as many games are story driven, this seemed like a good idea.

Only snag is, I haven't played anything in 6 years!
So I'm not sure what's out there.

Could you recommend some games that are fun, easy, have simple controls, are 2 player games and are story driven on the PS3 or PS4?

I'd be tempted to pick up an old Xbox with Gears Of War, but I know she'd find the controls difficult and would be put off by the gore.

Yes - truly, this is a challenge!

But she seems keen to get into gaming... provided there are games that she likes.
She grew up playing Sonic, Mario and Crash Bandicoot. But I think SKYLANDERS is probably too young for us now :)

Story driven, multi player and not gorey... Good luck with the unicorn hunt. Lol. Ok, so off the top of my head only the Lego games and LittleBigPlanet spring to mind.

If you don't mind watching for a bit something like Ni No Kuni or Valkyria Chronicles is great for story. Maybe even Super Meat Boy, Limbo, Bastion et al as it sounds like she likes the old skool style?

Some of the 'tales of' RPGs have multiplayer in the combat.

The most recent Rayman games have had multiplayer, otherwise... kind of scratching my head for co-op games beyond anything that hasn't already been mentioned and isn't an FPS. Their not something I've played myself, but I guess the Marvel Ultimate Alliance games were supposedly OK by the standards of 2006, but probably too much of a pain to find to be worth risking.

    Little Big Planet
    Resident Evil 5 & 6
    Diablo 3
    Borderlands
    Borderland 2
    Borderlands The Pre-Sequel

All I have played with my Brother AND now ex partner.

I'm not much of a gamer so those I enjoy.

My Brother also likes watching me play Telltales stuff after he has so he can see the different choices I make and therefore see new things.

Thanks for the suggestions guys :)

Little Big Land and Borderlands look favourite.

She's definitely not a fan of zombies unfortunately.

Those are DIFFERENT people, right? Being a Watamote fan made me wonder.

    UPDATE:

I showed her the trailer for Little Big World and a 'best bits' video of Borderlands and she loved them.

Little Big World for the cuteness, Borderlands for the twisted humour.

    Thanks guys! You're awesome.

If your can play fighter multiplayer like Street Fighter 4 and BlazBlue, then I would recommend those. But for story and multiplayer value try Puppeteer on PS3. [IMG]
