I love that Nightbeat! I've never been a fan of the IDW Prime design, I think it's down to have they've written the character for the most part. Great with Roberts, not so hot with Barber. By the looks of things, we'll be seeing a series-wide reboot soon anyway (purely speculation on my part!), so interesting to see what happens if I'm right! Oh, and I'm behind on my toy piccies - have a Menasor, Rar!

Thanks! it's the Thrilling 30 deluxe plus the Beezleboss upgrade kit for the head & chest. I think it does need a Reprolable Autobot insignia though (if I can find one that fits). And I kind of dig how Optimus has been written in recent years. A good 'bot, aware of his flaws, who is embracing the legacy of the Primes reluctantly to try and make a better universe for humans & Cybertronians. it might not be working but he's trying A reboot wouldn't surprise me either. IDW have now been publishing TF comics for more than a decade, have put out more material than Marvel ever did, and finally are pulling the gun on bringing in Unicron just as we get the return of several of the 13 Primes. I wonder, would they pull the trigger on actually offing Optimus prime, given we not only have Rodimus bit Primal is due to make his debut? You can almost hear the wailing now
