Anime's Human Machines cinema season at the London Barbican in September 2019

It's always a bit of a treat to see anime on the big screen, especially when it's an old fan favourite that rarely appears in the cinema. In september next year the London Barbican will host a series of special cinema screenings for its Anime’s Human Machines season, which features a number of such classics. Kicking off with the live-action SF horror Tetsuo the Iron Man on the 12^th, it showcases some animated feature films from the likes of Mamoru Oshii, Satoshi Kon and Mamoru Hosoda, among others.
