BanG Dream anime season 2 airs Jan 3rd

Bushiroad have announced that the “BanG Dream! 2nd Season” anime will premiere on January 3rd in Japan, with new episodes broadcasting every Thursday.

More importantly for us, the anime is also planned to premiere in over 60 countries, including countries from North America, Europe and Asia.

Illustrations of the members appearing in the anime have been revealed too - apart from the 25 band members in “Poppin’Party”, “Afterglow”, “Pastel＊Palettes”, “Roselia” and “Hello, Happy World!”, 5 exciting new band members will be introduced.

About BanG Dream:

“BanG Dream!” is a next generation girls band project that links animated characters with real life performances. It is a media franchise that includes Anime, Games and Live performances. Voice actors from “Poppin’Party” & “Roselia” formed real bands, and have attracted over 24,000 fans in "BanG Dream! 5th☆Live", held at Makuhari Messe International Exhibition in May 2018.

A third girls band, “RAISE A SUILEN”, was formed and in December 2018, held their first live performance at Ryogoku Kokukigan.

Currently, the short animation “BanG Dream! Girls Band Party!☆PICO” is aired on the official “BanG Dream! Girls Band Party!” English YouTube Channel every week.
