Pilot of EVA02 - Asuka in Plug Suit
Series: Evangelion
Height: 4cm
Width: 20cm

Evangelion is often considered a masterpiece in Anime history thanks to its plot. You can see traces from religion, occultism, and many other fields. This had raised quite a lot of discussions on this series, but above all of that... it also brings us two of the most popular female characters in anime: Rei Ayanami and Asuka Langley Soryu. No wonder this series is so popular even 16 years after it was aired.

This is the Gathering pre-painted version of Asuka’s figure from latest Wonder Festival in Japan. Illustration Asuka in her Plug Suit, this kit is 100% Hand-painted with high degree of detail. Following the original colour scheme, she was painted in red and orange whichy gives a bright effect. The Gathering Surprise Display Base is emblazene with the title "Evangelion 2.0" and was included as an exclusive. The base is 20 cm in width, making it an excellent size for easy display.

As an aside, Evangelion 3.0 & Final will be released in Japan in Fall 2012. It seems that we're within reach of a conclusion at last! More recently it was rumoured that  alive action movie was on the cards too - while similar rumours circulated back in 2003, we can only hope that this time there's more meat to the story.
