80's anime style makes Orbitals look amazing on Nintendo Switch 2

Step back in time to visit the future!

Written by Ross Locksley on 14 Dec 2025

Fresh from the Game Awards comes this amazing-looking trailer for Orbitals, a co-op adventure game that employs a distinctly 1980's anime aesthetic to a galaxy-spanning quest. The music also appears to be on point, and while there's not a huge amount of information about the title just yet, it certainly got our attention! Expect more news as we approach the release in 2026, exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2.

You can also sign up for updates on the official Orbitals Website.

About the game:
Team up as explorers Maki and Omura to brave the perils of space and save their crumbling space station home from the dangers of a supernatural cosmic storm. As you navigate uncharted areas, teamwork is vital. The only way to save your home is to do it together!
