Akame ga Kill UK Collector's Edition details revealed

Because everyone needs more anime tattoos

Written by A. H. on 09 Nov 2015

There hints that we were going to be hearing about this at the end of October, but better late than never we finally have some details about the UK release of the hotly anticipated Akame ga Kill!, complete with confirmation that it will be receiving a Deluxe Collector's Edition.

There's currently no confirmed release date for this DVD/Blu-ray combo edition of the series from Animatsu Entertainment, but courtesy of Manga Entertainment we can confirm its contents, which are as follows:

Rigid Outer Box
3x DVD Discs
2x Blu-ray Discs
Hard Cover Booklet
Tattoos
Sticker
Poster
On Disc Extras: AkaKill! Theater; Japanese Promos; Clean Opening Animation; Clean Closing Animation

More details will seemingly be revealed later in the week, but for now you can at least ponder whether these additions are enough to tempt you - you can also click the image in the header of this post to take a closer look at the contents of the package for yourself.

EDIT (10th November 2015): It's been noted that the pre-order for this Collector's Edition of Akame ga Kill Part 1 (comprising the first half of the series) is now up on Amazon UK, at a price of £85.99. A Standard Edition, DVD-only release is also on sale for £29.73. Both editions are slated for a 7th March 2016 release, and we expect that these current prices represent the SRP and will drop lower over time.
