Yes, they're decidedly late to the party, and yes it's a party that everyone else has been indulging in for two whole months already, but confirmation has emerged that Animax UK are still very much alive and a player in the UK streaming anime game.
Thus, the service has announced that they'll be streaming High School Fleet for the spring season, with the first six episodes of this original series already available on the site.
We've already reviewed episodes one to five - which is also available on Crunchyroll, FunimationNow and DAISUKI - of the series right here at UK Anime, so read that review for our thoughts and opinions. We're also poised and ready to shout "BINGO" in the unlikely event of Viewster also acquiring the series to give us a full house.
You can find High School Fleet on the Animax UK web site.
