Aniplex USA confirms Madoka Magica: Rebellion Blu-Ray release this April

Following their strategy from the release of its first two recap movies, Aniplex USA have announced their plans for the third Puella Magi Madoka Magica movie, Rebellion.

In short, the company will be offering the opportunity to buy an imported Japanese copy of the film on Blu-Ray, which includes English subtitles for the main feature itself, complete with an additional English translated booklet and three clear files with artwork from the film's promotional posters.

Alongside a standard edition release which retails for US $54.98, a Deluxe Edition will also be made available at a cost of US $94.48 which additionally contains a bonus Blu-Ray disc containing a two-hour feature titled "Rebellion Theatrical Release Commemoratory - Understand the Hit Anime Series Madoka Magica in 2 Hours!", a deluxe booklet, soundtrack CD and exclusive packaging and artwork.

At present there is no news of any planned screenings or distribution of the film in the UK.  We presented our thoughts on the movie during its Japanese theatrical run in this article.
