Bleach Rebirth of Souls opening cinematic unveiled

Stylish opener preps the March 21st launch

Written by Ross Locksley on 11 Mar 2025

Bleach Rebirth of Souls has dropped the opening cinematic movie for the upcoming Namco Bandai game based on Tite Kubo's fan-favourite manga.

The video is certainly stylish, adopting a red, black and white colour palette coupled with a hard rock soundtrack. It should put you in the mood to impale some foes on your quest to save Rukia.

The game launches later this month on March 21st for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and PC, so you unless you have a Switch, you're in for a good time. Digitally the game is available for pre-orders in three editions: Standard, Deluxe and Ultimate.

You can find more information on the official Bleach: Rebirth of Souls website

Both the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions include the Season Pass, a 7-day early access to DLC characters, Soul Crystals and Thousand-Year Blood War playable characters. Any player pre-ordering the game will receive the Toshiro and Yoruichi Thousand-Year Blood War costume set as a bonus.

If you'd like to see some in-game footage, I've popped the release date trailer below too:
