Crunchyroll stream The Highschool Life of a Fudanshi, Sweetness and Lightning, more Food Wars this summer

Today brings us another trio of titles, with confirmation of regions for one previously announced series and two brand-new additions. All of these shows are coming to our shores, so here's what we can look forward to here in the UK:

Food Wars! The Second Plate begins this Saturday, 2nd July with episodes airing each week at 3PM UK time. You can find the series (including its first season at this Crunchyroll page), and here's the synopsis for this second season:

Yukihira Soma has been helping out at his family diner his entire life. Upon graduating from junior high, he is prompted by his father to join an elite cooking school, Totsuki Teahouse Culinary Academy, where less than 10% of students have been known to make it to graduation. Soma overcomes many challenges and hones his culinary skills, meeting like-minded classmates and influential figures in the student body along the way. 

Soma eventually wins the right to compete in the academy's traditional Autumn Elections where only the chosen few first-years are allowed entry. Soma loses to his opponent by a single point, but makes it into the next round along with Megumi, Takumi, Hisako, Alice, Kurokiba, Hayama, and Mimasaka. Whom among them will be his next opponent, and who will emerge victorious?

Next up is The Highschool Life of a Fudanshi, which begins on Tuesday, 5th July. Episodes air each week at 4PM to this Crunchyroll page, and here's what the show is about:

Sakaguchi is a regular high school boy, just like any other. He turns out to have a deep love for Boys' Love. He could live on Boys' Love alone! Fudanshi Koukou Seikatsu is a hilarious slice-of-life comedy about Fudanshi Sakaguchi and his jolly gang.

Finally we have sweetness & lightning, which begins on Monday 4th July with episodes airing weekly at 6:35PM via this Crunchyroll page. Again, here's the plot of the series:

Kohei is a single father and high school teacher who lives with his only daughter. A chance encounter brings him together with Kotori, one of his students. The three of them start to meet together to make meals. None of them know how to cook, but they all love delicious food! ”sweetness & lightning” is a heartwarming and fun experience that you're sure to love!
