Darius Cozmic Collection Out Now

Defent the galaxy on Nintendo Switch and PS4

Written by Ross Locksley on 16 Jun 2020

Classic shooter Darius is back, bringing us not only a collection of the arcade hits, but also the console classics too - so there's guns. Lots of guns.

Old-school gamers will fondly remember the name Darius, blasting it's way through arcades since 1987, blowing away the competition with 3 screens, multiple endings and non-linear play. Due to that success, the game was also released on consoles, and has been a mainstay of the shmup series all the way up to today.

As if in answer to all our locked-down frustration, Taito has released two separate collections, one for arcade, the other for console, so that we can blast the living hell out of fish-like alien invaders. There's never been a better time to kick their collective invading asses!

The Cozmic Collections are out now for both PS4 and Nintendo Switch - we'll have a review up shortly so you can see which of these titanic collections deserves your cash.
