Double Dragon Revive to resurrect the classic brawler

Modernised controls, updated graphics and all new levels

Arc System Works has been beavering away on a new iteration of the classic 1987 Technos arcade brawler, Double Dragon. The game is set to release on October 23rd, with multiple digital and physical editions available on PS4/5, Xbox and PC, plus a pre-order bonus of an entirely separate game, Double Dragon Dodgeball, which features the classic sprites from the original.

The trailer showcases many of the new features, including moves, enemies,  bosses and level design all modernised to give today’s players a fresh challenge. There are also some rather nicely drawn story scenes to move the action along.

Take a look below and decide for yourself if you’ll be joining the boys (and girl) for a rumble in the streets…
