Eureka to release Hideo Gosha's Samurai Wolf 1 and 2

Written by Richard Durrance on 27 Oct 2023

Having already given us an early Christmas present of The Fall of Ako Castle, the lovely people at Eureka have announced an after Christmas digestif, the release of Hideo Gosha's chanbaras: Samurai Wolf 1 and 2.

Inspired in part by Kurosawa and spaghetti westerns, the story ronin Kiba (Isao Natsuyagi) drifting into trouble in our duo of films bodes well considering it's from the director of Three Outlaw Samurai and Violent Streets.

Catch Eureka's new trailer here.

And as always order direct from Eureka to get early delivery (my experience not their promise) and often the best price, but most of all to support one of our best independent distributors of cinema.

About Richard Durrance

Long-time anime dilettante and general lover of cinema. Obsessive re-watcher of 'stuff'. Has issues with dubs. Will go off on tangents about other things that no one else cares about but is sadly passionate about. (Also, parentheses come as standard.) Looks curiously like Jo Shishido, hamster cheeks and all.
