FUNimation Entertainment announce Darker Than Black Blu-ray release for North America

It's a perennial favourite here in the UK Anime offices, and a show of Studio BONES at its best, and it's now been confirmed that North American distributor FUNimation Entertainment will be releasing the first series of Darker Than Black as a limited edition premium box set this year.

As of May, North America will be offered up 5,000 units of the Darker Than Black Complete First Season Premium Edition, comprising that entire first series on Blu-ray together with special packaging, a "display easel" and a 48-page art book. The release will retail for US $99.98.
