FUNimation Entertainment license Bayonetta: Bloody Fate movie for North America

In a timely acquisition given that the second iteration of its original video game will be arriving on Nintendo's Wii-U platform later this year, FUNimation Entertainment have announced that they've picked up GONZO's feature-length film Bayonetta: Bloody Fate for a North American release.

There's no news on release dates and formats yet, but the film will sport an English dub, which will be previewed at Anime Expo in Los Angeles early next month. With Madman Entertainment's previous announcement that they have licensed the film in Australia, the film now also seems ripe for a UK release, so watch this space!
