Forest of Piano available on Netflix

Netflix has released their latest anime, Forest of Piano. Originally a manga called Piano No Mori: The Perfect World of Kai, the book ran from 1998 to 2015 in Kodansha. A film was created by Madhouse in 2007, but on April 9th the TV series made its debut on NHK, produced by Studio Gaina.

Netflix has acquired the worldwide streaming rights to the series. Originally intended for 12 episodes, it was extended to 24. 

The series features music by Vladamir Ashkenazy, a renowned, award-winning pianist from Russia.

The show is available to stream now on Netflix.

Synopsis:

Kai grows up playing an old piano discarded in the woods; Shuhei's father is a famous pianist. Their chance meeting transforms their lives and music.
