Kodansha Comics USA unveils numerous new manga licenses

We've seen new manga license announcements from Seven Seas Entertainment, Yen Press and Vertical so far this month, and now the circle of seeing all major manga publisher make an announcement this month is closer to completion with Kodansha Comics USA unveiling a slew of new licenses.

Unsurprisingly, there's more Attack on Titan fare within the list of new titles, with tie-in book The Science of Attack on Titan slated for an English language release in June 2015, while the second Attack on Titan Colossal Edition omnibus hitting retail in September 2015.

Meanwhile, recent acquistion Maria the Virgin Witch sees a manga spin-off picked up in the form of Maria the Virgin Witch Exhibition, while will ship as a single volume in August 2015.

Similarly, Fairy Tail spin-off Fairy Girls, starring Lucy, Erza, Wendy and Juvia, will see its first volume released in the autumn.

From spin-offs to prequels, Appleseed α is coming to the west in the future at an as-yet unannounced date, serving as a prequel to Masamune Shirow's well-known Appleseed manga and based upon the CG fillm of the same name.

Beyond all of this, there are also some brand new series coming in English from the publisher - reverse harem comedy Kiss Him, Not Me will be getting a print release from the autumn to supplement its digital availability on Crunchyroll (from which we have a review coming soon), while fantasy-adventure series Livingstone and action series Die Wergelder will also both see autumn releases in English.
