Kumiko the Treasure Hunter Released in UK Cinemas From Today

The Zellner Brothers latest feature which takes its cue from the urban legend that a Japanese woman once died in the North Dakota snow looking for the money Steve Buscemi buried in the Coen Bros. movie Fargo has finally hit UK screens courtesy of Soda Pictures!

First seen in the UK at Sundance London last year (where we reviewed the film), Kumiko the Treasure Hunter stars Rinko Kikuchi as the fairytale heroine Kumiko who leaves her disappointing office lady life in Tokyo after becoming convinced she has a destiny to find buried treasure in America.
