Love Live! School Idol Festival released for iOS in English

Available on UK iTunes store, also Google Play for Android

Although we've missed out on some notable localised iOS titles in the past here in the UK (we're looking at you, iDOLM@STER Shiny Festa...), today has brought us some good news for fans of idol-based rhythm games, as Love Live! School Idol Festival comes to the UK's iTunes store as well as the Android platform's Google Play store.

This free-to-play rhythm game from Bushiroad offers up both "Story" and "Live" modes, putting you in charge of Love Live's school idol group μ's - the live mode of the game allows you to tap along to a variety of the group's songs in the hope of posting a high score on each song's leaderboard and to earn cards to further your future efforts, while story mode allows you to manage the group's training, schedule and performances.

All of the group's cast of characters are voiced by their anime counterparts - the game is free-to-play with in-app purchases, although we haven't investigated this any further at the time of writing as the game is currently "undergoing maintenance" and thus unplayable.

The game is available for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, and can be found on the UK iTunes store.  The game is also available for Android devices via the Google Play Store.
