Both series coming to DVD and Blu-ray in spring and summer

This week has seen both of the major anime-related magazines in the UK release 2015 preview issues, and in the case of NEO Magazine they had a couple of exclusive announcements from distributor MVM Entertainment to reveal, with more license announcements that we're aware of sure to follow.
First and foremost, Satelight's anime adaptation of light novel series Log Horizon will be getting a release on both DVD and Blu-ray next year. The series will be released across two half-season sets, currently scheduled for spring and summer respectively.
The show imagines a world where 30,000 gamers suddenly find that the MMORPG that they've been playing, Elder Tale, has become their reality, and we follow this transition through the eyes of the intelligent Shiroe as he seeks to ensure the safety and prosperity of those trapped.
Also confirmed for a 2015 release is Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse, a light novel spin-off story from the Muv-Luv visual novels again adapted and produced by Satelight. Similarly, the series will be released on both DVD and Blu-ray, with half-season sets arriving in the spring and summer.
The series is set in an alternative timeline to the main Muv-Luv story, and follows a project which seeks to save the Earth from the invasion of an alien species known only as BETA.
Are you looking forward to seeing either of these series reach the UK? Let us know in the comments!
