Macross Delta film greenlit for 35th Anniversary

New music and animation

Written by Ross Locksley on 08 Aug 2017

Good news for those of you who caught Macross Delta last year and enjoyed it - a movie has been given the green light for the 35th Anniversary. So far all we know is that the film will feature the original 5 voice actors for Walkure, and new animation.

Fans of Macross will be no stranger to film adaptations of the popular series. If previous form is anything to go by, expect a retread of the original story with new plotlines and scenes thrown in. Traditionally Macross films are viewed as "in universe" retelling of events, or in other words, a historical drama as would be filmed in the Macross world. Think Dunkirk or Pearl Harbour...

More news as we get it.
