Mado Monogatori given release date and physical special edition

The long-lived classic dungeon crawling franchise refreshes itself for a new generation

As reported back in February, Mado Monogatari: FIa and the Wondrous Academy is coming West courtesy of Idea Factory International. Now we have details of a release date - July 29th 2025 - as well as pricing and the contents of the physical limited edition available from the IFFY store.

The game is a dungeon crawling RPG which began life on the MSx and PC-98 back in the 80's and has since carved a niche for itself with numerous new iterations, as well as the popular puzzle game spin-off, Puyo Puyo.

The Limited Edition, costing £70.83 for Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4 and Playstation 5 includes:

  • Physical game
  • Official Art Book (64 pages)
  • Official Soundtrack (27 tracks)
  • Mini Shikishi Board
  • Reversible Cover Sleeve
  • Exclusive Trading Card
