Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic Season 1 appears on Amazon UK

Listed as Manga Entertainment release

Written by A. H. on 28 Nov 2013

We always love a bit of anime licensing speculation here at UK Anime, especially when it dovetails neatly with behind the scenes snippets of information that we've been storing in our brains for some time now.

Thus, our ears have perked up at the arrival of a new listing to Amazon UK, suggesting that the first season of Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic is going to make an appearance in physical form next year on our shores.

The listing for the first half of season one of the series suggests that it will be released on both DVD and Blu-Ray, and that the release will be distributed by Manga Entertainment - based on prior information, we have very good reasons to believe that this license is actually in the hands of Kazé, with the series previously streaming on Anime on Demand (and now Animax UK) to further back up that belief.

If this listing is to be believed, Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic Season 1 Part 1 will be released on both formats on February 24th 2014.

EDIT: This release has now been confirmed directly by Manga Entertainment.

Are you excited at the possibility of this series coming to the UK on DVD and Blu-Ray?  Let us know, below!
