Mai Mai Miracle Kickstarter hits English dub stretch goal

Mai Mai Miracle Kickstarter hits English dub stretch goal

Next goal is audio commentary or theatrical pamphlet

Written by A. H. on 11 Feb 2014

It still has 24 days left to run, but Anime Limited's Kickstarter campaign for Mai Mai Miracle is still trucking along smoothly.

After reaching its initial $30,000 goal for a physical release within twenty-four hours of the campaign started, yesterday saw the project hit its first, $60,000, stretch goal, to allow for the creation of an English dub for the film.

So, what next?  Anime Limited currently has two possible stretch goals which they're asking backers to choose from, one of which will be activated if the campaign reaches $75,000.

In short, the choices on the table are an audio commentary track created and delivered by anime expert Jonathan Clements, or an English reproduction of the pamphlet produced for the film's original Japanese theatrical run.

You can read more, or back the Mai Mai Miracle project, at its Kickstarter page.
