Manga Entertainment confirm Death Note, Digimon Adventure Tri delays

Date changes to two titles

Written by A. H. on 06 Oct 2016

In the midst of all the never-ending simulcast announcements, we neglected to report on a couple of notable delays to forthcoming Manga Entertainment releases on home video which are worthy of note.

Firstly, we have news that the Death Note Blu-ray box set has been pushed back from its previous 31st October release date to a new date of 19th December - this delay has come about due to a number of technical issues with the materials provided to the distributor for this release.

Meanwhile, the UK release of Digimon Adventure Tri Movie 1 has slipped from 19th December to a March 2017 release at an as-yet unspecified date. This change is due to a wait to secure the film's completed English dub - the release will now contain both English and Japanese audio, compared to the original plan to release in Japanese with English subtitles only.

Are you looking forward to either of these releases? Let us know in the comments!
