Namco Bandai debut Gundam Assemble at MCM Expo, plus Tamashii Nations coming to the UK

Gaming goodness and lots of toys too!

At this weekend's MCM London Comic Con, Namco Bandai showcased their upcoming Tabletop RPG Gundam Assemble, a strategy game that uses models to depict the action.

James and I spoke with Game Producer Tatsuro Kawashima at the show, who spoke about the game style - it will be a skirmish game much like Battletech, so fans of that genre should have much to look forward to here. The models will be click-build to make it easy for collectors, and the quality will be in line with Namco Bandai's Gunpla kits, which speaks well for what we can expect in terms of build and finish.

The game will be on display again at the UK Games Exhibition at the NEC next weekend.

Additionally, we leaned that Japanese store Tamashii Nations will also be coming to the UK, bringing lines like the exceptional Robot Spirits and Metal Build Lines. It remains to be seen how prices will compare to imports, but hopefully it will make hard to find items, like the upcoming Zeta Gundam, easier to find.

Just some of the goodies we can look forward to being officially available in the UK
