Patema Inverted launches on Picturehouse Cinema's OurScreen service

If there's one complaint that we frequently hear whenever any anime film gets a theatrical release, it's "why aren't there any screenings near me?"

This is a question that might just be answered by Picturehouse Cinemas' OurScreen service, which allows users to register and create a screening of their very own at their local Picturehouse cinema tailored to suit their preferred date and time - tickets will then be made available for the screening either privately or publicly on the cinema's web site, and provided enough tickets are sold to meet the screening's target set by the Picturehouse then the screening will go ahead.

To try out this service, Yasuhiro Yoshiura's Patema Inverted is now available on OurScreen courtesy of Anime Limited, so if you want to see this wonderful film screened near you then you can find the movie available on the OurScreen web site, from which you can create a screening of your very own!

We'll be keeping a close eye on how this attempt to give fans a say in screenings of the film works, so if you've created a screening and would like us to promote it via our social media channels for you, please let us know and we'll be happy to get the word out to the community!
