Peter Cullen to be presented with Lifetime Achievement Award

Written by Ross Locksley on 17 Nov 2023

Prolific Western voice actor Peter Cullen is to receive a lifetime achievement award by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. The award will be presented at the 2nd Annual Children's & Family Emmy Awards on December 17th.

Probably known best for his work as Autobot Leader Optimus Prime, Winnie the Pooh's Eeyore and the villainous Venger from Dungeons & Dragons, Peter Cullen has also been involved in anime dubs of Voltron and Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs.

Whatever children's programs you grew up with, chances are that Peter was a part of them. We're thrilled to see him honoured for all the thrills and entertainment he's provided across his long-running career.
