New acquisitions from Udon Entertainment and more

Last weekend saw the monolithic San Diego Comic Con for 2015 take place, and of course some manga publishers were at the event with new acquisitions and plans to unveil to their awaiting public.
Topping the bill in terms of acquisitions were Udon Entertainment, who had a number of new licenses to flaunt. Let's start out with the manga adaptation of visual novel turned anime Steins;Gate, the first of three volumes of which is due to hit retail in August 2015 alongside the first volume of the previously acquired Kill la Kill manga.
Also announced by the company is that they will be publishing the classic 1970s shoujo series The Rose of Versailles in 2-in-1 omnibus editions, starting in the second quarter of 2016.
Finally, and also currently scheduled for the second quarter of next year, is Moyoco Anno's Sugar Sugar Rune manga - the series was previously released in English by the now-defunct Del Ray.
Alongside all of this came news that the publisher will be releasing art books for Bayonetta 2 and Persona Q amongst other video game-related releases.
Meanwhile, Kodansha Comics also had a single new license announcement to make, that being the news that they will be bringing Ah My Goddess author Kousuke Fujishima's Paradise Residence manga to the west. This peek behind the proverbial curtain at an all-girls school through the eyes of its tomboy protagonist doesn't have a release date as of yet.
Of course, the publisher were also keen to talk about Attack on Titan, which will see a deck of playing cards bundled with volume 16 before volume 17 arrives bundled complete with an anime OVA episode on DVD entitled Ilse's Notebook as per its Japanese counterpart. Kodansha Comics confirmed that this is the only way you'll be able to own this episode in English.
Finally from the show, we received news from Dark Horse Comics that they will be releasing the Blade of the Immortal manga in 3-in-1 omnibus editions at some point in the future, with no actual release dates confirmed as yet.
Are you looking forward to any of these releases? Let us know in the comments!
