Stomping into the west next November

Monster girls are so 2015... 2016 is the year of the dinosaur girl! At least, it is according to Seven Seas Entertainment, who yesterday announced that they have acquired My Girlfriend is a T-Rex for a western release, with its first volume arriving on November 1st 2016.

Seven Seas Goes Prehistoric with License of My Girlfriend is a T-Rex
Seven Seas Entertainment is excited to announce their acquisition of an all-new, totally different type of monster girl series: My Girlfriend is a T-Rex, by Japanese author and artist, Sanzo.
In a world where humans live side-by-side with anthropomorphic dinosaurs, Yuuma Asahikawa is a young man looking for a fresh start in life. It’s a classic case of “be careful what you wish for” when Yuuma begins dating Churio--a gorgeous Tyrannosaurus Rex with a ferocious appetite.
Follow the ups and downs of Yuuma and Churio’s bizarre romance as they spend their daily lives together. As Churio’s vicious claws, reptilian tail, and razor sharp teeth hinder even the simplest of activities together, will Yuuma, let alone their relationship, survive?
"My Girlfriend is a T-Rex—like Monster Musume but with a very prehistoric twist!" said Seven Seas publisher Jason DeAngelis. "The stories are cute, the characters are lovable, and the overall series works hard to answer that age-old question we've all wondered...can humans and dinosaurs really date?"
Seven Seas will publish My Girlfriend is a T-Rex for the first time in print in North America as single volumes. Each book will contain at least two full-color illustrations. Volume one of My Girlfriend is a T-Rex will be released on November 1, 2016 for $12.99 USA / $14.99 CAN.
