The Devil on G-String visual novel now available on Steam

The takeover of PC digital distribution platform Steam with visual novels continues apace, and yesterday saw another addition in that regard with the release of G-senjou no Maou - The Devil on G-String on the service.

Sekai Project are responsible for bringing this English localised version of the game our way, and what's more it's currently available with a 30% discount until November 12th, making its price £10.49 instead of its normal £14.99 price point.

LOS ANGELES – November 5, 2015 – Sekai Project, a publisher and licenser of Japanese new media and electronic entertainment today announced that G-senjou no Maou - The Devil on G-String, a visual novel filled with crime, mystery, and intrigue is now available on Steam for Windows-based PCs.

Developed by AKABEiSOFT2, and originally released in Japan in May 2008, the Steam release of G-senjou no Maou - The Devil on G-String on Steam marks the developers first officially localized release.

A gripping tale of power, deviously-masterminded criminal activity, and an intricately woven web of plot-thickening schemes, players are placed into the shoes of Azai Kyousuke, the adopted son of an infamous Yakuza gangster. Kyousuke knows what he likes and lets absolutely nothing stand in his way in getting what he wants.

Referred to as God by his classmates, and the wickedly strict president of one of his father’s subsidiary corporations, Kyousuke often enjoys listening to classical music and "working" off a debt owed to his father. But when a beautiful girl named Usami Haru appears in town along with an international criminal known as "Maou," they bring with them their cat-and-mouse game of plotting and intrigue.
