Third Window Kickstart New Directors from Japan BD/DVD Project

Third Window Films have long been bringing us the best that Japan and other Asian nations can offer, but now they're embarking on a new venture to try and shine a light on some of the up and coming directors whose work has not yet been fully appreciated. As this is a risky venture seeing as the directors are much less well known and Third Window plan a Dual Format BD/DVD slipcased edition, a little help is needed to 'kickstart' the project. Consquently Third Window have turned to the popular crowdsourcing platform and now need your help to get the project up and running. There are 250 copies of the completed New Directors from Japan box set available to pre-order for the special Kickstarter price of £16 (the non Kickstarter edition will run at £22.99) each of which will be signed by all three of the directors! In addition the entire run of this special project will be limited to 1000 copies so the Kickstarter portion will make up one quarter of the total volume of copies printed.

The directors featured in this edition (which will hopefully be the first of many) are:

• Nagisa Isogai - My Baby (16mins) / The Lust of Angels (40mins)
• Hirobumi Watanabe - And the Mud Ship Sails Away (88mins)
• Kosuke Takaya - Buy Bling, Get One Free (27mins)

The set will contain all the films on DVD/BD plus a bonus DVD full of extra content.
